Wey Valley Academy
Wey Valley Academy joined the Authentic Education in June 2019. The academy has seen recent growth in its key stage 3 capacity to support the increasing numbers of pupils that have been coming through from local primary schools.
Wey Valley Academy is a large comprehensive academy which is located on a campus with a Primary School, a Special School and a Nursery School. It is a vibrant campus and Wey Valley Academy itself benefits from a variety of great facilities. Alongside the specialist classrooms for science, art, technology, dance, drama, music, catering, animal care and ICT it also boasts exceptional PE facilities which includes an indoor tennis centre and a fully functioning fitness gym.
As part of its rapid school improvement Wey Valley Academy has been supported by a rich programme of support which is available across all our Secondary schools and in 2023 achieved an overall effectiveness GOOD in its OFSTED inspection.
